Meghan Markle will 'not be asked back' for Suits revival as creator rules out return

However, she hinted that there might be room for Meghan to make a cameo.

She explained: “He didn’t say that there couldn’t be a crossover or there couldn’t be a cameo appearance from one of us at some point. But he said this is its own entity. Much like all the CSIs and all the Bruckheimers, right? Where they have CSI, Vegas, Los Angeles, on the moon everywhere.

“So I feel confident that they want this to soar on its own without any of the original cast. That doesn’t mean that we won’t pop in.”

Despite this, Harris, who also starred in Lucifer and Disney+’s Goosebumps, said that Korsh hasn’t mentioned anything about Markle returning.

She added: “He has not said anything to me about Megan popping in. We don’t talk about the Duchess. It’s rude. She has enough going on. You know what I mean? Let’s leave her alone for God’s sake. Right.”

Lately, there’s been loads of gossip about Meghan possibly returning to acting since she stopped when she married Prince Harry in 2018.

At the Golden Globes, her former co-star Patrick J. Adams was asked what it would take to get Markle back on screen.

He said with a smile: “To acting in Hollywood? You know better than I do? I don’t know. Good luck. She has got a lot going on?”

When quizzed if the show’s bigwigs would want her back, he said: “Yeah. I think Meghan is an incredible actress. She was amazing in the show. I hope so.”

He also mentioned: “We’d be lucky to have her back in the industry.

Adams shared that the producers haven’t spilled any beans about a new series but hinted it would be a “completely separate world within the Suits’ world.”
