Meghan wasn’t in attendance at the awards, but she was certainly a hot topic of conversation.
Torres revealed that Meghan is not involved in the “insane” Suit group chat during a red carpet interview.
“Our text thread is insane right now, so it’s very exciting,” Torres told Variety.
When asked if Meghan was involved, she replied: “We don’t have her number. We just don’t.”
Meghan and husband Prince Harry were mocked by host Jo Koy during the comedian’s opening monologue, which also took aim at the ‘rich, white and dysfunctional’ Royal Family.
He said: “Succession has nine nominations. Just a great series about a rich, white, dysfunctional family, all scheming — oh, wait, that’s The Crown. I’m sorry.”
“Harry and Meghan Markle got paid millions for doing absolutely nothing,” Koy said, adding: “And that’s just by Netflix.”
While former co-stars Adams and Macht discussed the possibilty of Meghan returning to the show.
When pushed to say whether Meghan would appear in any Suits projects, Adams said: “Sure. Mike and Rachel in Seattle. They gotta come down to L.A., they gotta fix some stuff.”
“She’s pretty popular right now,” Adams added, to which the ET interviewer then replied: “I don’t know why?”
Adams responed: “Did you hear about Meghan? I’ll tell you later. There’s been a lot of stuff going on.”
