Meghan Markle habit went against Royal Family ethos – 'It was how she grew up'

Meghan Markle’s “get-up-and-go” attitutde during her time as a frontline royal largely went unnoticed, according to a US-based journalist

Britanni Barger, co-founder of Royal News, told Daily Express US “very anti-American bias” also contributed to negative public opinion of the Duchess.

She said: “She was up early, working all the time, she has the get-up-and-go attitude, but that’s the American attitude, we get stuff done, and I think the British are more relaxed.

“I don’t think they took into consideration, how she grew up, I think they wanted her to become 100 percent British, and she was never going to do that.”

For example, Meghan was asked to have a fruit cake as her wedding cake as per royal tradition but she allegedly refused and Ms Barger believes she was in the right, because that is a part of British culture and not part of Meghan’s culture growing up in Los Angeles, California.
