Meghan Markle could use one “excuse” to put a stop to any near future visits to the UK by her, Prince Harry and their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, according to a royal expert.
Following Princess Kate’s shock cancer diagnosis, it has been speculated that she and Prince William extended an olive branch to Harry and Meghan.
The future King and Queen invited the US-based royals to visit the UK with their two children, according to The Mirror.
But Meghan will have the ultimate say over whether they will return to Harry’s home country, royal expert Richard Fitzwilliam’s said.
He told The Sun that the Duke of Sussex recently losing his bid for more security would give Meghan an “excuse” to avoid the awkward reunion.

The reunion is looking even more possible following the brothers’ reported recent phone call, after Kate’s cancer announcement.
Fitzwilliams said: “Harry will be here at some point in May, and maybe before then to see King Charles.
“The problem is the King and Princess of Wales have their diagnosis’ and no one knows the state of what precisely William and Harry have said to each other when they spoke briefly.
“The rumours have been that it wasn’t an in-depth talk.”
