Meghan Markle has announced a major milestone for Prince Archie in a new interview. The Duchess of Sussex revealed that her eldest child has finally lost his first tooth, just weeks after discussing it at a summit in New York.
Meghan revealed her “sweet mum moment” with her son in a new interview with Fast Company. She revealed she played the tooth fairy for her son and left money and a dinosaur toy under his pillow, with Archie waking her up at 2am to share the exciting news. The Duchess said: “I had a lot of business meetings the next morning, but I still chose to cuddle with him the rest of the night.
“Those mom moments energise me to be a better founder, a better employer, a better boss.”
Back in April, Meghan spoke about her son’s major milestone while at a TIME100 summit in New York.
Meghan said Archie’s tooth is loose, adding: “[It’s] about to happen, and I just hope I’m back home in time for it!”
Elsewhere in the new interview, she admitted she wouldn’t know how to describe herself professionally anymore, just weeks after rejecting the “influencer” label.
She said: “If I had to write a résumé, I don’t know what I would call myself. I think it speaks to this chapter many of us find ourselves in, where none of us are one note.
“But I believe all the notes I am playing are part of the same song.”
Back in March, the Duchess rejected the “influencer” label, telling People magazine: “I see myself as an entrepreneur and a female founder and if the brand ends up influential, then that’s great.”
