Meghan Markle American Riviera Orchard launch may be following clever 'protocol'

Meghan Markle’s jam roll out has been a slow roll – and commentators think this may be due to clever “protocols” put in place by the Duchess.

Royally Obsessed’s Roberta Fiorito believes she may have given her pals guidance for how and when they should share the productt on social media.

Meghan soft launched her new lifestyle brand in March but it’s yet to enter full swing. Instead 50 sample jars of homemade jam were delivered to friends and influencers to spread the word.

Ms Fiorito said of the care packages: “I have so many questions, like what are the protocols for sharing, this jam rollout, because it’s not happening all at once?”

“It’s really a roll out, we keep getting new people who are spreading it each day.”

Meghan’s friends are spreading the word on social media and spreading the jam on crackers and bread in their photos.

Podcast co-host Rachel Bowie also wondered: “My number one question for you is, who spread it best?”

To which Ms Fiorito replied: “I mean, Chrissy Teigen, I was just gonna say, Christie Teigen out did everyone with that grilled sourdough bread and butter, got John involved, all the kids, incredible.”

Ms Bowie agreed with the pick, saying: “Of course, we should’ve known that would’ve happened, she’s now chef extraordinaire, cookbook author, and all of that.”

“I thought she did a fabulous job and Meghan should hire her for their social media.”

While the podcast hosts are cheering for Meghan, they find the extended delay to be confusing.

“I’m still confused, it is May, officially, and it’ s not out yet, I’m not seeing any rumblings,” says Ms Fiorito.

The royal watcher did some digging, trying to find a “little nugget” about the site launching, but she came up empty-handed.

The jam roll out is still going with a new friend popping up on social media every few days, kicking off with fashion designer Tracy Robbins, actress Mindy Kaling, and the latest being Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Garcelle Beauvais.

But, there is still that question out there, which Ms Fiorito asks: “When is it going to launch?”

Ms Bowie has even more questions, saying: “What is it going to look like? Is it going to be mass production? Is it going to be limited edition?”
