Meghan and Harry's bitter feud would not be solved over Christmas: 'Not best environment'

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s bitter feud with the Royal Family is not set to come to and end anytime soon, with the pair “not ready” to reconcile with them.

Although rumours circulated throughout December that Meghan and Harry were willing to spend Christmas with the royals at Sandringham, it has been reported that the couple had no intention to do so.

Relationship expert Louella Anderson recently said that, as well as it being surprising if the parties were reunited over the festive period, it is questionable as to whether the holiday would be deemed appropriate to heal the feud.

She said: “It’s a time for families to come together and celebrate, but with tension and hurt feelings still present, it may not be the best environment for reconciliation.”

“While this continues, it would be unlikely that Meghan, Harry and the Royal Family would be ready to reconcile or celebrate together.”

This year marks the fifth Christmas that Harry and Meghan have had away from the Royal Family.

The last time the couple spent the festive season at Sandringham was in 2018.

The couple were in the UK in 2019, but chose to spend Archie’s first Christmas with Meghan’s mother Doria Ragland.

The couple announced their plans to step down as senior royals at the start of 2020 and shortly moved to the US. The couple welcomed their daughter the following year.

With a no-show at Sandringham, Harry and Meghan are believed to have spent Christmas in California with their two children.

Just a week before Christmas, the couple jetted off on a family break to Costa Rica.

Archie, four, and Lilibet, two, both joined their parents.
