The global fast food giant will change its UK menu in weeks as an exclusive milkshake flavour prepares to debut in March 2025.
The Shamrock shake is already a staple item in US McDonald’s restaurants but has never been seen on home soil.
However, it’s only here briefly, so fans must act quickly to taste the iconic thick, mint-green shake.
McDonald’s confirmed that it will donate 20p from each Shamrock Shake sale to Ronald McDonald House Charities UK.
The chain is a founding and forever partner of the Charity, which provides free ‘home away from home’ accommodation to families with children in hospital.
The delicious Shamrock Shake features a peppermint-flavoured syrup blended with a creamy milkshake base.
This iconic milkshake will be available from Wednesday, March 12, to Tuesday, March 25.
It follows the success of the sell-out purple Grimace Shake last year, which left McDonald’s menus in the UK on December 25, 2024.
