Manchester Piccadilly Gardens cordoned off as police swarm bus stop outside Primark


A man has been rushed to hospital following an incident at a bus stop in Manchester. Police swarmed the stop in Piccadilly Gardens this morning (Friday, February 16).

A GMP spokesperson said officers were called to the scene just before 9.30am over reports of concern for a man’s welfare, Manchester Evening News reports.

Paramedics also raced to the scene, outside Primark. Surrounding roads have been closed with a Stagecoach bus pictured inside the cordon.
