A man who was declared “clinically dead” after a car crash woke up 14 days later and won the lottery twice.

Bill Morgan, a trucker from Australia, first won a car worth £17k on a scratchcard, then won a further £140k while reenacting his win for TV news.

“I just won $250,000 (£140,000) – I’m not joking,” he said, in tears.

He quickly called his fiancee to share the good news.

At the time, he was living in a caravan, but he used his winnings to buy a house in Melbourne and invest the rest.
