Major win for Princess Kate as Royal Family 'overshadowing' negative Prince Harry press

Kate, the Princess of Wales has secured a major win for the Royal Family as the festive season is their “time to shine”, according to royal expert Kinsey Schofield. The Royal Family will step out in support of Princess Kate as she hosts her third annual Christmas carol service event at Westminster Abbey on Friday evening.

Speaking on TalkTV, Ms Schofield said that she believes the Royal Family are “overshadowing” all the negative press that Prince Harry is getting at the moment.

Discussing Princess Kate’s Christmas carol service, which will air on ITV on Christmas Eve, the royal expert told TalkTV: “I think there is something so enchanting about watching the Royal Family at Christmas time. This really is their time to shine.”

Ms Schofield added: “Their focus is unity and strength and hope for the future.

“I do think that they are overshadowing some of the negativity that kind of surrounds the Duke and Duchess of Sussex by keeping their focus on the future, keeping their focus on the tasks at hand.

“[and] really jumping, I hate to sound cheesy, but really just thrusting themselves into the holiday spirit because we all love to see it and we want to be in the mix too.”

After much anticipation, author Omid Scobie’s new book Endgame was released onto shelves on November 28. Within a few hours, hundreds of copies of the Dutch version had to be removed from sale as the names of the alleged “racist royals” came to light after they were published in error. Express.co.uk has chosen to not reveal the two royals named in Endgame – because it wouldn’t be right.

Although the allegations resurfacing has bought a cast over the Royal Family, sources and insiders have stated that it is “business as usual” for the family.

The Prince and Princess of Wales, as well as the King and Queen, have all undergone various engagements. On Tuesday, Princess Kate arrived in London to visit Evelina London Children’s Hospital to mark the opening of their brand-new Children’s Day Surgery Unit.

Praising the royal, body language expert Judi James previously told Express.co.uk: “Kate quite simply focuses on the people she is meeting here, especially the children, and allows her body language to be dictated by them.

“She is fully immersive with the small children, using eye contact, animated gesticulation and a contagious smile that looks prompted by them and which is delivered for them exclusively.

“Children can spot a phoney a mile off and here they look genuinely engrossed in the conversation Kate is prompting with them.”

Stepping out in support of the princess, members of the Royal Family will also be present at Westminster Abbey on Friday evening.
