Major update in search for Gaynor Lord as police divers pull large object from river

Police divers searching for missing mum Gaynor Lord have pulled a large object in a black bag from a river. Dive teams have been drafted in from Lancashire Fire and Rescue and Environment Agency to search Norwich’s River Wensum in the New Mills Yard area, which is almost a mile from Wensum Park where police have been carrying out sonar searches.

The team is currently investigating the drains in the area using a camera on a stick.

It comes after a spokeswoman from Norfolk police told the Express searches would be continuing “indefinitely” in the River Wensum.
