“Hell on wheels” killer Mackenzie Shirilla and her mom cackled over the global attention surrounding the daughter’s double-murder case — and gleefully predicted they’d soon be rubbing elbows with A-listers, according to newly released jailhouse phone recordings.

The twisted exchanges took place as Shirilla, 20, was locked up for intentionally plowing her car into a brick wall, killing her ex-boyfriend Dominic Russo and friend Davion Flanagan in 2023.

Rather than showing remorse, the now-convicted killer appeared elated by the mounting media frenzy surrounding her sick crimes, boasting she expected stars such as Kim Kardashian to come calling — and hoping to launch a career in Hollywood herself.

“So wait, it’s all over the world now – the ‘Today’ show – like, national news?” Shirilla can be heard asking her mother from behind bars.

Mom Natalie Shirilla replies, “OK, wait, I’ve gotta tell you one more thing — it was published in England.”

Mackenzie says, “What?!” prompting Natalie to erupt in laughter and respond excitedly, “Yes!”

The daughter gleefully says, “It’s world news?” as her mother continues to giggle.

The fame-hungry mom-daughter pair then discuss the possibilities surrounding their newfound notoriety.

“Maybe Kim Kardashian will reach out herself,” Mackenzie says.

Her mom responds, ‘That’s what I’m saying – I’m hoping.

“I’m hoping,” Natalie says. “We’re getting there. I was gonna do this anyways, so this is great.”

The self-centered daughter says, “Then they can just reach out to us.”

Her mom replies, “Uh huh. Craziness, baby girl.”

Kardashian has previously thrown her star power behind imprisoned convicts she believes were wrongfully put behind bars or are adequately rehabilitated and should be freed.

But if Mackenzie thinks Kardashian would rush to her rescue, she should think again, a source close to the star told TMZ, explaining that case is not exactly the type she would get behind.

In a separate jailhouse phone call, Natalie – who’s been the subject of public outrage and backlash for her seemingly defensive, coddling approach to her daughter’s case – told her daughter to start writing a book.

“You hear what I’m saying?” she told Mackenzie.

The killer daughter’s relentless pursuit of celebrity was even made clear to her jail pals, according to two former inmates – who said she “walked around like she was this famous person” and fancied herself an “It Girl” behind bars.

“She said she was just gonna live it [up] if she gets out,” said Shyann Topping, who allegedly dated Shirilla for a couple of weeks inside the Ohio Reformatory for Women, previously to The Post.

“Like, she’s gonna go back to concerts. She’s gonna travel. She’s gonna be an influencer and write a book when she gets out about everything that happened.

“She was just trying to grab a piece of fame,” Topping said, predicting that the convicted double murderer would “throw up a big middle finger” to the victims’ families if she were to be sprung from prison early.

The seemingly remorseless killer is serving two concurrent sentences of 15 years to life, though she is now appealing her conviction for a second time.

Both former inmates also said they never saw Mackenzie — the subject of a new popular Netflix documentary, “The Crash” — show an ounce of remorse for her teen victims.

In a third jailhouse phone call with her mother, Mackenzie was recorded fantasizing on her horrific crimes.

“Remember that one guy who got arrested for murder and he became like a model because he was just like… everyone was like, loving his mugshot?” Mackenzie was recorded saying.

Between fits of laughter, Natalie responds: “Hell, yeah, that was hot. I remember that guy.”

“He’s an actor and s–t now. I watched a movie with him in it,” Mackenzie says.

During that call, the social-media-obsessed daughter also ordered that her Instagram bio be changed to read “#freekenzie” – despite her mother’s pushback.

“Please don’t forget to change my Instagram bio. Try and get into that one Instagram account and change my name,” Mackenzie demands, according to the audio recording made public.

He rmom replies, “Kenzie, that may look bad right now,” according to the US Sun.
