A stretch of the M60 has been shut this morning, with long delays for motorists following a “police incident”.
Traffic had been stopped in both directions between junction 6, for Sale, and junction 8, for Carrington. The clockwise stretch of the road is still closed, with a diversion currently in place. Greater Manchester Police said they are dealing with a “concern for welfare incident”.
