Sharing an adorable glimpse into her Bank Holiday celebrations, Lorraine Kelly has showcased the newest addition to her family. The morning talk show host posted on Instagram to share a sweet snap of daughter Rosie’s dachshund dog, Ruby, nestling under a blanket.
The ITV presenter, 64, captioned the sweet picture: “Bank holiday vibes from @rubyisasausage – she’s decided to sleep most of the day to recharge after a weekend of being adorable which is obviously exhausting #cute #sausagedog #sleepy #dogsofinstagram.” (sic)
Lorraine’s 544,000 followers immediately fell for Ruby’s charm, with one stating: “Photos like this melt my heart.”
Another quipped: “Adorable! Must be so exhausting being that cute.”(sic) And a third observation came from a user who mentioned a news tidbit, writing: “I saw on the news this week that dachshunds are the sleepiest dogs. This boy loves his naps too!”
Rosie, 29, announced her pregnancy with partner Steve White back in April 2024. She shared a cute mirror snap of her baby bump on Instagram at the time, expressing: “We could not be more excited you’re already so loved little one.”
An ecstatic Lorraine, soon to embrace grandmotherhood, couldn’t contain her joy, responding: “THE most exciting thing to have ever happened in our family!
“Cannot wait to be a granny and so proud of Rosie and her Steve. It’s the best news EVER.” (sic)
