A primary school has been evacuated after a car crashed through the wall of the building. The horror smash happened earlier this morning at Beacon Church of England Primary School on Heyworth Street, Everton.
Emergency services have rushed to the scene and taped off the road, with a number of ambulances stationed inside the cordon.
A picture shows the dramatic scene with a huge hole left in the side of the school building, with the car coming to a stop inside the classroom.
