But there’s a YouTuber you’ve likely never heard of who is worth a whopping £430 million. But how has she made so much money and managed to remain fairly anonymous throughout the world?
Well, it turns out that the 65-year-old is really rich and famous in India. Nisha Madhulika, a 65-year-old former teacher, has become the wealthiest female YouTuber in India, with a net worth of ₹43 crores (£430 million).
But how did she make it?
Her YouTube bio states: “Nishamadhulika creates Vegetarian Recipes in Hindi for families worldwide. My mission is to bring joy and togetherness to every home through wholesome and healthy recipes.
“With you since 2009. Thank you for your love and support, you are my driving force!”
She has a whopping 14.7million followers on the platform, and shares recipes for all sorts of culinary delights like naan bread, paratha, milk cake and more.
She is a household name thanks to her passion for cooking. @viralbhayani described her as “an inspiration to many, but also a role model for many aspiring chefs and most importantly… housewives who are also trying to convert their hobby into their profession…. Just like Nisha Madhulika did!”
In 2017 Nisha received her first major recognition when she was named the top YouTube Cooking Content Creator at the Social Media Summit & Awards. She continues to impress her fans and followers with her fantastic, easy-to-follow content.
