Lionel Messi becomes true Florida man, spotted at Publix grocery shopping

Most famous professional athletes don’t have the luxury of walking around in public and doing routine things that most of us take for granted. That includes trying to fill our shopping cart without people being a bother.

For Lionel Messi, it seems he wants to be as normal as possible, especially since his arrival in the United States to play for Inter Miami FC of Major League Soccer.

And normal these days is going to a Florida Publix because … why not?

Well, for starters Messi showing up to shop there probably isn’t a coincidence as Publix is a corporate sponsor of Inter Miami.

Messi recently went on a shopping trip to the aforementioned grocery store because, let’s be realistic, the man has to eat and can’t be too bougie to let other people shop for him. The trip was no doubt accompanied by security to keep the crazies away, but Messi was kind enough to allow people to take selfies and then let him go about his shopping trip.
