Leeds building site death: Man dies after falling from crane


A man has fallen to his death after plunging from a crane on a building site in Leeds. Emergency services rushed to the scene in the city centre shortly before 8am on Wednesday morning following reports that a man had fallen.

The man’s body was found at the site, a spokesman told The Sun, and hw was tragically pronounced dead at the scene. The man had “fallen from height” after entering the building site late on Tuesday, according to reports, and he was not an employee at the site in question.

There are no circumstances surrounding his death, according to West Yorkshire Police. A police cordon was in place this morning, but has since been lifted.
