Lady Louise's priceless birthday present that gave away how she spends her Saturday nights

Lady Louise Windsor’s priceless birthday present appears to reveal how she spends her Saturday nights.

It has been revealed that Lady Louise, then aged 15, appeared in the audience at Strictly Come Dancing in 2018.

The visit was part of a birthday “treat” and the young royal – who is the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh’s only daughter – was joined by her mum.

Lady Louise, who is now 20, is said to be a “huge fan” of the show – as is her mum Sophie.

Reflecting on the royal visit, Ms Daly told HELLO!: “Lady Louise was celebrating turning 15 and she said it was a treat to come and visit the show. She’s a big fan, herself and her mother.”

Speaking in 2023, Dancer Johannes Radebe revealed that the Duchess of Edinburgh also previously told him that she would love to appear on the show.

As well as Lady Louise and Sophie, Queen Camilla is also known to be a fan of the BBC’s hit dancing show.

During a past visit to a dance studio in Cambridge, the Queen met Johannes Radebe, telling him that they “all watch it [Strictly Come Dancing].”

She is said to have told him, “We all watch it. I’m one of Strictly’s greatest fans.”

Louise is currently a student at St Andrew’s University – the same university where Prince William met Princess Kate. The royal is studying English and is in her second year.

Many questons have arose over where Louise and her younger brother James, the Earl of Wessex would ever become working royals.

Despite this, one royal expert has pointed out why she is very unlikely to become a working royal – all due to one common complaint.

Speaking to OK!, royal expert Jennie Bond said: She told OK!: “It’s clear that for the next 15 years or so (depending on when Prince George decides to take up, full-time royal duties), the working Royals are going to become extremely thin on the ground.

“But I’m doubtful that Lady Louise would ever become a full-time working royal, partly because I’m not sure she would want to, and also because The King and William know only too well that the monarchy has to be increasingly accountable to the taxpayer.”

The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh have largely kept their two children out of the royal spotlight – with both not having the typical ‘prince and ‘princess’ titles.

The couple appeared at the Easter Sunday service with their son last month, Lady Louise’s was no-show likely due to her studies.
