If last year is evidence, games like Monday can be defining.

The story of the postseason for the Knicks last year was huge comebacks and collapses.

There was Game 1 against the Pistons in the first round, when they used a 21-0 run to erase a huge deficit and win.

There was Game 4 in Detroit of that series, when the Knicks both blew an early 16-point lead then overcame an 11-point deficit in the fourth quarter to win. In the Game 6 clincher, the Knicks blew a 15-point lead in the second quarter and an 11-point lead in the fourth quarter, then used an 11-1 run to overcome a seven-point deficit down the stretch.
