King Charles's plans for Omid Scobie revealed as friend makes one devastating comment

A close friend of the Royal Family has laid bare what King Charles truly thinks of Omid Scobie’s bombshell book Endgame.

Reportedly, the monarch simply brushed off the chaos and said: “It is only a book.”

Speaking to The Daily Beast, a friend of the family revealed Charles had more important issues to attend to, claiming: “The King has bigger fish to fry.”

The comments came with reference to Scobie’s book which promised a series of explosive allegations, with the Amazon description declaring it would be a “penetrating investigation into the current state of the British monarchy”.

A former courtier also told the publication “nobody cares” when referring to the book’s contents.

The Dutch version of Endgame created the desired scandal by naming two members of the Royal Family accused of making comments about Prince Archie’s skin colour before he was born. This was published even though Mr Scobie initially claimed he had not identified the individuals for publication.

The names have since been redacted from the Dutch edition with the Dutch publisher Xander Uitgevers hitting out at Scobie’s claims, branding his explanation “factually incorrect”.

It has since been revealed “early and uncleared” text was provided to the publisher for them to start work on a translation which was meant to reflect the final version of the book.

The Daily Express chose not to name the two individuals – especially as they have “no effective way” of defending themselves.

Omid Scobie, branded Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s “mouthpiece” has claimed the couple was not involved in the making of the book.

With the Firm choosing not to releasing a statement, instead the Royal Family has carried on with important royal duties in the lead-up to Christmas.

Ahead of the festive season, King Charles made a passionate speech at COP28 in the United Arab Emirates where he paid tribute to his grandchildren.

He said: “In 2050 our grandchildren won’t be asking what we said, they will be living with the consequences of what we did or didn’t do.”

As Christmas draws closer, King Charles is faced with a huge dilemma with “no good outcome” as claimed by his former butler.

As the Royal Family prepares to get together for the big day, despite the late Queen Elizabeth being a “huge advocate” for Christmas – it is “uncertain” whether this Christmas, celebrated by the Royal Family will include Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
