A huge emergency presence scrambled to a building collapse in Yorkshire earlier today. Police, firefighters and paramedics were at the scene on Dalton Lane, Keighley where scaffolding and stones litter the road.

A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “We were called today at 11.36am to a report of a collapsed structure.

“We have fire engines from Bradford, Shipley and Keighley, the technical rescue team and the aerial ladder platform in attendance.

“Ambulance and police are also in attendance.”

Pictures from the scene show a crane in attendance as investigations get underway.
