Josef Fritzl: Horror as basement monster says he will move to Britain if released

Evil monster Josef Fritzl, who imprisoned his daughter in an underground dungeon for 24 years and fathered seven children as a result of raping her, has threatened to move to Britain if he is released from jail.

Fritzl, 88, was jailed for life for his crimes after keeping his daughter, Elisabeth, as his sex slave for 24 years.

He reportedly dreams of the UK’s “spectacular scenery” after seeing it in a documentary about Shakespeare he watched in prison.

Fritzl said: “I was filled with this wonderful, uplifting feeling, this sense of inspiration for this fantastic culture.

“And it was then I knew that when I get released, it is not Austria I want to stay, rather I want to emigrate to the UK.

But despite the life sentence, the Austrian prison system allows criminals to apply for release after 15 years and earlier this year a court ordered he could be released, however it was later reversed.

Fritzl will first be asked to undergo tests to prove he poses no risk.

But even if he is released, it is unlikely that Fritzl’s UK dream will come true anytime soon.

The Home Office said it will bar “by law” anyone who has “received a custodial sentence of 12 months or more”.
