Bill Belichick is officially a WAG.
The UNC football coach had the title β shorthand for wives and girlfriends β bestowed upon him by Jordon Hudson after he cheered on her Cheer Extreme Code Black team at the Cheerleading Worlds in Florida.
βRoses [up] for Bill the WAG 💍🌹🌹🌹👌🏻,β Hudson captioned a picture of the couple decked out in Code Black gear.
Hudson, 25, added to their householdβs trophy case with her teamβs title at in the International Open Coed Non-Tumbling division over the weekend.
Sheβs long been a sideline staple β for better or worse β at Belichickβs endeavors, with the 74-year-old and six-time Super Bowl champion head coach returning the favor at Hudsonβs cheerleading competitions.
The couple has seemingly remained out of the public eye after an eventful first season in Chapel Hill, where Belichickβs introduction to college football resulted in a disappointing 4-8 debut.
He and Hudson found themselves in the headlines often, with a disastrous βCBS Sunday Morningβ interview thrusting their relationship into the spotlight and a disputed report of Hudsonβs ban from UNC facilities following their arrival.

βLook, letβs face it,β UNC general manager Michael Lombardi told βThe Pat McAfee Showβ in March. βIf youβre not worth a darn, theyβre not going to attack you. Some programs are not worth attacking. Theyβre going to attack us. We expect it. Itβs all good. Weβve been in the arena before. We donβt listen to the noise. We focus on what we have to focus on and we move forward.β
All the hoopla hasnβt broken Belichick and Hudson, who seem closer than ever with Year 2 of their UNC circus on tap.
