Teflon Don John Gotti’s grandson is back in cuffs for allegedly slapping and choking his gal pal – just days before he was due to start serving a prison sentence for stealing COVID relief funds.
Carmine Agnello, 39, was hit with assault, criminal mischief, and obstruction of breathing charges for the alleged assault – after he was set off because he thought the victim was cheating on him, according to a Nassau County criminal complaint.

The grandson of the late Gambino crime boss was sentenced to 15 months behind bars in April for running a million-dollar COVID-relief scam and was scheduled to head to prison on June 12.
Agnello, who faced three years for pocketing $1.1 million in pandemic relief funds in 2024 and using much of the money to invest in cryptocurrency, tried to get a break by claiming he needed to donate his kidney to his mom, mob princess Victoria Gotti.
On Tuesday, cops said he smacked his girlfriend, pushed her to the ground, kicked her multiple times and put his hands around the woman’s neck outside his East Norwich home.
