Joe Burrow has high expectations for the Bengals in 2026.
The three-time Pro Bowl quarterback spoke highly of the talent surrounding him in Cincinnati, calling it “the most talented roster that we’ve had since I’ve been here” before handing out a rosy forecast for this coming season.
“We’re going to go win a lot of games this year and play great and win a Super Bowl,” Burrow said during a press conference on Wednesday.
The Bengals had a busy offseason, adding pass rusher Boye Mafe and safety Bryan Cook in free agency while trading the No. 10 overall pick for Pro Bowl defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence II in a blockbuster deal with the Giants, giving Burrow plenty of reason for optimism.

“We got guys that work really hard to put themselves in position to perform well, perform to our standard,” Burrow said. “We haven’t necessarily done that for a couple of years, so we brought some guys in who have been there and done that and have their own standard of play and are going to live up to that.”
Those additions and Burrow’s comments come as Cincinnati tries to pull itself out of a yearslong rut.
The Bengals have missed the postseason in each of the past three seasons, a big drop-off for a team that had looked like one of the AFC’s emerging powers behind Burrow.
In Super Bowl 2022, the Bengals fell to the Rams after taking down Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs in the AFC Championship game.
A year later, Cincy lost to Kansas City in the AFC title game after going 12-4 during the regular season.
The Bengals then disappointed last year, going 6-11 and falling well outside the playoff race.

Burrow was limited to just eight games with a lingering toe injury.
When on the field, Burrow threw for 1,809 yards with 17 touchdowns and five interceptions.
