Joe Biden 'will pull out' of 2024 election on health grounds as approval rating plummets

US President Joe Biden will pull out of the running for the 2024 election on health grounds, a top JPMorgan strategist has predicted.

Michael Cemblast has made ten ‘”surprise” predictions for 2024, and number three on the list is his hunch on President Biden abandoning his hopes for a second term in office.

He added that Mr Biden will withdraw after Super Tuesday when the majority of states hold primary elections and caucuses.

After blaming poor health for the decision, Mr Biden will let the Democratic National Committee decide who steps in for him for the 2024 election, Mr Cemblast said.

The JPMorgan heavyweight added: “Biden has a low approval rating for a President with ~10 percent job creation since his inauguration, although that figure is the by-product of his inauguration coinciding with the rollout of COVID vaccines and a reopening US economy.”

Mr Cemblast also believes that the President’s poor polling will play a big role in his decision.

A recent survey by the New York Times and Siena College in November found that just 37 percent of people say they trust Mr Biden with the economy.

Speculation around Mr Biden’s state of mind raised its head again this week after Mr Biden seemed confused while on stage at Valley Forge in Pennsylvania.

First Lady Jill Biden had to run on stage and lead her 81-year-old husband away.

David Axelrod, the man who helped mastermind Barack Obama’s 2008 election win, has raised concerns over Mr Biden’s age.

He said: “I think that there is one issue that is hanging over him.

“I think with Donald Trump on the other end, he could still win this election. But the age issue is difficult.”

John B. Judis, a longtime political strategist and author, also believes that Mr Biden’s could prove costly for the Democrats.

He said: “He doesn’t look and speak the part. He’s not a commanding or charming presence on a presidential or presidential election stage.

“I think a lot of voters, and young people in particular, who are not at all put off by his political positions or accomplishments, are put off by his utter failure as a regal persona.

“And I don’t know how that can be fixed. Not by bicycling. Biden’s best hope in that regard is the voters’ perception of Trump as a bad or even evil father who wants to wreck the family.”
