Jeremy Clarkson issues statement on Clarkson's Farm future as he hints at 'huge change'

Jeremy Clarkson has issued an update on the future of his Amazon Prime show, Clarkson’s Farm. The former Top Gear presenter has faced a number of issues on his farm lately, which will all be showcased in the third season airing today, on May 3.

Jeremy, his girlfriend Lisa Hogan and farm manager Kaleb Cooper are set to return on his Diddly Squat Farm in Oxfordshire as they face new obstacles together – Including the restaurant being closed down and Jeremy having to part with some of his beloved animals.

But before the most recent series has even aired, the 64-year-old presenter turned farmer has given an update on series four. Speaking to the Daily Mail, he confirmed that it is already in the works.

Jeremy said: “We’re doing season four now. And every single day when we meet for filming, we have a vague idea about what I need to do, but I can guarantee it will change because the weather has changed, or some fence will have fallen down…”

He added: “And you never know what you’re going to end up doing. As long as you get content, it doesn’t matter what it is.”

Meanwhile, series three is set to deliver some devastating blows. Jeremy’s co-star Gerald has been diagnosed with prostate cancer, with the news being broken in later episodes of the season.

Fans of the show have come to adore Gerald, who regularly features in Jeremy and Kaleb’s farm antics, especially for his expertise in construction.

In a touching update later in the season, Jeremy shares that Gerald is on the mend following a medical procedure. Jeremy previously shared how close he is to his co-star and said he has known Gerald for “a long time”. According to the Mirror, he said: “He’s fantastic. We’ve known each other for a very long time.

“He’s 72, also never been outside the village, but has worked on this farm for 50 years. He’s a great dry stone-waller, which is a dying art.”

He added: “It doesn’t matter if you can’t understand what he’s talking about, because he’s usually talking about Manchester United.”

Clarkson’s Farm series 3 launches globally on Prime Video on May 3rd 2024.
