ITV weather star Lucy Verasamy issues stern warning to fans as she poses for snap

Lucy Verasamy looked gorgeous as she posed for a selfie at the ITV studios. The weather presenter, 43, looked chic as she stood on set before going live on air, amid sending a stern warning to her fans.

Her brunette locks were perfectly in place and she glowed with minimal makeup. She was spotted donning a black turtleneck top which hid her microphone.

However, she informed fans that she had been a victim identity theft on Instagram after people used her images to create fake accounts. In the caption, she told her 189,000 followers that the only account she uses is the one she uploaded the sexy snap to.

The caption read: “Please note this is my *only* Instagram account. Any other is a dupe/fraud and should be ignored & reported. I would never message someone I don’t know.” Fans empathised with the meteorologist and rushed to the comments section.

One follower wrote: “You too ey! [eye roll emoji]. Would love to meet some of these folks face to face.” While another agreed and shared their frustration and said: “Dupes are so annoying!”.

But after a fun getaway with her friend, Laura confessed that she accidentally found herself in trouble during a trip to Spain.

The presenter is a keen runner and took up the sport last year after massively getting into, following the split from her ex-husband.

She often updates her followers on what she gets up to when she is filming abroad, including the sites she comes across when she exercises. However, she got lost when she was out on a run.

Laura explained how filming in various locations often meant running in areas she didn’t know much about and winded up getting lost.

Speaking to Jenni Falconer on her Runpod, she began by explaining that not all hotels she stayed in for the show had gyms, so therefore had to keep up her fitness by running.

“Getting outside and running is great, but I’ve got lost a couple of times,” she explained. “That’s the only negative I’d say about running abroad, I don’t know where I am half of the time.”
