ITV The Fortune Hotel stars revealed as they tease huge clash on Stephen Mangan series

New ITV series The Fortune Hotel is opening its doors next week as the primetime entertainment show hits screens. Hosted by Stephen Mangan, the series will see 10 pairs of contestants arrive at The Fortune Hotel, located in a luxury Caribbean resort

Upon arrival, each pair of contestants will be given a briefcase. Inside one case will be £250,000, eight are empty and another case contains the dreaded Early Checkout Card.

Whichever pair is left holding that case at the end of each show will see their stay brought to a dramatic end. Through a series of challenges every day, the contestants will attempt to uncover who has which case.

At the end of each episode, viewers will witness the nerve-wracking case swap where each pair must decide whether they want to keep or switch their case.

Now Express.co.uk can exclusively reveal two of the contestants taking part in the upcoming reality show. Married couple Samm and Aysha will try their luck at trying to outsmart their co-stars and take home the whopping £250,000.

Opening up about why they chose to do the show, 30-year-old Aysha said: “I’ve never experienced something so adventurous before, I felt very lucky and blessed to be given the chance.

Meanwhile Samm, also 30, added: “We’ve never travelled together so it was almost like a honeymoon for us without the relaxation and chill.”

Asked what they would do with the money if they won, the London-based couple confessed they would put it towards helping their parents and children, but would also invest in business in their hometown of Kenya.

The show was far from smooth sailing for the couple, with Samm revealing that Aysha got “emotional” during challenges due to their competitiveness.

He explained: “Aysha got emotional during the challenges as we are competitive so it was frustrating when we made mistakes or got things wrong.

“The challenges were always dramatic,” the content creator agreed. Samm and Aysha grew close to a number of their co-stars, however, the pressure of the show meant viewers can expect a number of disagreements.

Aysha admitted: “I often forgot it was a game so I took people’s words quite literally which meant I clashed with Jae and Cherish but it was all part of the competition.”

Samm, a content creator and construction worker, declared: “Aysha was too trusting, you can’t trust anyone at The Fortune Hotel.”

The Fortune Hotel airs every Monday-Thursday at 9pm on ITV1, ITVX, STV and STV Player ÿrom May 13th
