ITV The Chase fans say the same thing as Bradley Walsh makes announcement

The Chase fans all said the same thing after Bradley Walsh pointed out a rare occurrence on Monday’s episode. To celebrate International Women’s Day, which is when the episode originally aired, the show featured an all-women line-up of contestants.

Leanne, Donna, Payal and Abigail took on the Chaser in a bid to win a cash prize on Monday evening’s episode of the ITV quiz show. They went head-to-head with Jenny Ryan, also known as The Vixen.

Discussing the all-female line-up, Bradley said: “This is great, this is really good. Something’s going on here though, isn’t it?” One of the contestants replied: “Yeah, we’re taking over the world Brad. Mind out.”

Fans at home were equally delighted as they shared support for the women. One user on Twitter said: “#thechase all-girl team.” Another person posted: “Let’s hear it for the girls! #TheChase.”

Unfortunately, girl power wasn’t on the team’s side as only two of them made it through to the final Chase, and ended up getting caught by Jenny.

The Chaser praised them for their efforts and gave special thanks to ITV for allowing her to be a part of the International Women’s Day special.

The Vixen said: “It’s been an absolute privilege to be a part of this very special show, the first-ever all-female team. But unfortunately for you, when it comes to the final Chase, sisterhood goes right out the window.”

While today’s main episode of The Chase was over, fans were made up to be getting a double dose this Bank Holiday Monday.

They shared their joy to be seeing Bradley and the Chasers back on screens later this evening, for a screening of Beat The Chasers.

One user said: “Jumped from #thechase to #fourinabed – plough inn in ripple, my neck of the woods. Live 20 mins away. See ya for #beatthechasers later.”  (sic)

Another added: “Good evening bank holiday #thechase club. Who is up for Beat the Chasers at 9?”

A third said: “Can’t wait to watch tonight’s Beat The Chasers! #thechase.”

“Remember that brand-new Celebrity #BeatTheChasers is on this week – 9pm, Monday to Thursday #TheChase.”

The Chase airs weekdays at 5pm on ITV and the ITV Hub
