'Israeli leaflets reveal $400,000 bounty' on Hamas leader known as 'Gaza's Bin Laden'

Israel has placed a bounty on Hamas’ senior commanders, it has been claimed.

Among the men placed on the target list is the man known as “Gaza’s Bin Laden”.

Images have been shared online of a leaflet offering $400,000 for information on Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar as well as other officials.

There is also a $300,000 price on his brother, Muhammed Sinwar, the commander of Hamas’ southern brigade.

Rafa’a Salameh, who commands the Khan Younis battalion, has a bounty of $200,000 while Muhammad Deif, the commander of Hamas’ military wing, has a bounty of $100,000.

The leaflets promise confidentiality for anyone who wants to provide information on the Hamas officials.

Last week, the IDF surrounded the home of Hamas leader Sinwar.

IDF Chief-of-staff Herzi Halevi also said: “We are attacking (Hamas) centre of gravity.

“We are asked frequently about the destruction in Gaza – Hamas is the address. Sinwar is the address.”

Sinwar’s whereabouts remain unknown, but a senior official in the US said that it was safe to say that the Hamas chief’s “days are numbered”.

They added that Sinwar has “American blood on his hands” and that justice will be served.

Israel has carried out a number of strikes on Gaza since Hamas killed 1,200 Israelis in its terror attack on October 7.

The Israeli bombardment has killed over 18,000 Gazans, and many hostages remain in the enclave.

This week, the IDF admitted that it accidentally killed three hostages inside the Gaza Strip after they mistakenly thought they were Hamas operatives.

The IDF said in a statement: “During combat in Shejaiya, the IDF mistakenly identified three Israeli hostages as a threat and as a result, fired toward them and the hostages were killed.”

Samer Talalka, Alon Lulu Shamriz and Yotam Haim were named as the hostages killed.

Daniel Hagari, an IDF spokesman said the hostages “fled or were abandoned by the terrorists who held them captive” before they were shot.

He also said that “after the shooting, during a scan and examination, an immediate suspicion arose regarding the identity of the dead, and their bodies were quickly transferred for examination in Israel, where the hostages were identified.”

He added: “This is a sad and painful event for all of us, and the IDF bears responsibility for everything that happened.”
