The Sun has since claimed that Harry was left “surprised” by the visit, with him even reportedly claiming that he felt like an “official visitor” rather than a member of the family.
Having travelled on his own, Harry reportedly gave King Charles a framed photograph of himself pictured with Meghan, Archie and Lilibet to mark their reunion.
The King, 76, has not seen his two youngest grandchildren since their last visit to the UK in June 2022.
The King is also said to have gifted Harry a birthday present, with the royal celebrating turning 41 just days after their meeting.
Overall, the publication revealed that the King and Harry greeted each other warmly with kisses on the cheek – before enjoying tea privately and the exchange of gifts and swapping gifts.
Sources close to the Duke of Sussex claim that he is happy with his life in the US and only wants to reconcile with his family – and has no plans to return as a working royal.
