With King Charles and the Princess of Wales undergoing medical treatment, questions have been raised as to what health facilities the Royal Family opt to use – and it’s definitely no ordinary hospital.
The King Edward VII Hospital has been used numerous times by the Royal Family, with the late Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip opting for the Marylebone facility.
Sarah Ferguson, 63, underwent her breast cancer surgery at the private hospital in 2023 – and she was spotted outside the facility earlier today, marking the first time she has been pictured since her recent skin cancer diagnosis.
Outside the exclusive hospital, she bravely told royal fans “I’m fine, thank you” after being asked how she was doing. The hospital has been used plenty of times by the Royal Family, as well as other notable figures.
It has just 56 beds, spread out over five buildings. There is the Main Hospital, the Emmanual Kaye House, The Charterhouse, King Edward VII’s Hospital Medical Centre, and Conference Rooms & Offices on site.

Sarah Ferguson was pictured for the first time since her spokesperson revealed on Sunday night that she has been diagnosed with skin cancer, six months after undergoing a mastectomy for breast cancer.
The Duchess of York, wearing a navy blue blazer with statement gold buttons over the top of a black dress, waved and smiled at the cameras as she left the private London hospital in Marylebone. She is understood to have spent an hour inside the exclusive clinic.
Issuing a brave four-response after being asked how she is doing, Ferige told royal fans: “I’m fine, thank you.”
Prince Philip had been staying at the hospital for a month prior to his death on April 9, 2021. Queen Camilla reportedly visited the hospital in 2012 for a hysterectomy, while Queen Elizabeth II had a knee operation at the institute in 2003.
