Inside Boris and Carrie Johnson's incredible ski holiday as fans all say the same thing

Boris and Carrie Johnson swapped Whitehall for the white slopes of the French Alps last month, with the mother-of-three posting adorable images of the family on Instagram.

The couple stayed in La Rosiere with their three children, Wilfred, Romy and Frank – all of whom are less than four years old.

Snaps from the trip show Boris and Carrie holding each other, as well as each parent looking after one of their kids on the mountain.

Fans of the couple had their hearts warmed by the pictures, with many of them having a similar reaction.

One social media user wrote: “Stunning location and pics. You all look like you’re having such fun on the slopes!”

Another simply said “brilliant” while a third chimed in with “super”.

A fourth commenter referenced the “amazing view” of the mountains, while another said, referencing a picture of Mr Johnson with a pram: “Sheer determination with the pushchair. Hope it was all peaceful.”

Carrie Johnson took to Instagram to share further details of the trip. Posting a video on the social media platform she said: “Skiing with three, three and under, is not for the faint-hearted and I did wonder if we were a bit crazy to attempt it but when I asked on here, loads of you said you’d done it and to go for it – and I’m so glad we did!

“We went to La Rosiere which was amazing – particularly for little ones. La Rosiere offer private lessons from age two and ski school from age three. I think that’s a bit younger than your average resort and so it was perfect for us.”

Carrie is known for her creative and thrifty purchases. She explained that she’d fetched each of her children’s ski gear for a surprisingly low price: “I got all the kids ski gear off Vinted. Don’t think I spent more than £30 on each child for full ski gear – jackets, salopettes, goggles, gloves, socks etc. Will sell most of it back on Vinted when they grow out of it too.”
