Reform UK leader Nigel Farage has vowed he will pursue “absolutely disgusting” Kemi Badenoch over her accusation he faked membership figures for his party.
Speaking to Dawn Neesom and Cameron Walker on GB News the MP said: “I don’t mind all sorts of comments being made about me, but to be accused by her of being a fraudster, I’m sorry. I am not going to let this rest.”
When pushed to divulge what action he would take he refused to expand n his remark simply saying: “I will let you know in the next couple of days, but I will not let this rest.
“It absolutely disgusting that she should accuse us of defrauding the British public is quite wrong in every way.”
The feud between the pair began on Boxing Day when Reform UK claimed its membership had surpassed the Tories. A digital counter on the Reform website showed a tally of members before lunchtime on December 26 ticking past the 131,680 figure declared by the Conservative Party during its leadership election earlier this year.
