A mum-of-three who went to Benidorm in the eastern part of Spain with her siblings took to social media to point out one thing she wasn’t expecting.
Ebony Crawford shared a TikTok video recorded in the Costa Blanca city’s Insomnia nightclub – and she was left floored by how packed the nightclub floor was well into the early hours. “The best time in Benidorm, 5am in Insomnia,” she penned in a caption alongside her clip.
The club appeared to be packed with fellow holidaymakers revelling in the dance tunes. Ebony documented her visit to Alicante further in a second video, which again she declared she’d had the “best time ever” with her mum and sisters.
Staying at Hotel Gold Arcos, Ebony showcased the dining options available, featuring several British dishes as well as all the continental plates you’d expect. Next she gave her followers a glimpse into her room, which overlooked the surrounding tourist buildings amid a stunning sea backdrop.
“Amazing hotel, stayed there last October,” one TikTok user penned in response. A second agreed: “Its such a beautiful hotel isnt it Ebs.”
Another British holidaymaker in the city, meanwhile, has urged others to be aware of alleged “fake taxis” in the area. Harry, known (@harrytokky) cautioned that these bogus cabs could be just “random strangers’ cars,” which won’t always deliver you to your intended destination.
In his clip, he pledged to inform viewers about which taxis are trustworthy and which should be avoided to ensure safety in the bustling party area.
He reassured that these are the taxis that will “take you to your destination nice and safe,” unlike the “fake” ones. Harrry advised: “So guys, if you’re coming out to Benidorm, they are the only taxis that you should be looking out for because you don’t want to get into some random stranger’s car”, as it may lead you somewhere you do not want to be.
Brits have also been warned over an “illegal activity” that appears to be rife on the Spanish city’s beaches, meanwhile. The problem was highlighted by holidaymakers, Mark and Karen Gregory, who took to TikTok to claim tourists potentially face a hefty fine if falling foul of the crime. “Don’t buy cocktails on the beach,” they urged in a video.
Sharing footage of cocktail salesmen in action on the sand, the pair continued: “They’re illegal, they’re not made in a bar – they’re made in a quiet alley. However, it’s not just the vendors that face prosecution.
“And YOU can be fined if you’re caught buying one,” Mark and Karen claimed.
