How to watch the Samsung Galaxy S24 reveal – be first to see the S23 successors

After a long countdown, the day has arrived – the Samsung Galaxy S24 series of phones is almost certainly launching today, Wednesday 17 January at an event in San Jose, California. We expect to see the unveiling of the Galaxy S24 Ultra, S24 Plus, and S24, some of the year’s most anticpated Android phones.

Also expect a lot of chat about AI. If rumours are to be believed, Samsung is going big on artificial intelligence in its latest Galaxy S phones, following Google’s lead after its Pixel 8 phones late last year.

Whether or not you’re a Samsung fan, there’s no denying that in 2024 the company is one of the most important in all of consumer tech – so there’s no wonder you want to keep a keen eye trained on what it’s about to announce,

If you want to watch the Galaxy Unpacked keynote presentation live from San Jose to find out just what Samsung has crammed into its newest phones, then here’s how to do so.

So far, all the rumours and leaks point to Samsung announcing the Galaxy S24 series of phones – the Galaxy S24 Ultra, S24 Plus, and regular S24. But that’s not to say those will be the only products on show, as Samsung could have a surprise or two up its sleeve.

In the past the firm has used these big Unpacked events to announce Galaxy Tab tablets, Galaxy Watch models, and various versions of its Galaxy Buds earbuds. But it must be said that there have been hardly any indications from the grapevine that this is the case in 2024, so it’s likely this will be a phone only unveiling.

Rumours point to Samsung leaning in on the AI revolution, with one report on 9to5Google citing leaks of clever new search tools and AI assistance for note taking as as live translation.

The alleged new smartphones will have to do a lot to live up to their predecessors. The Galaxy S23 Ultra currently sits atop Express.co.uk’s best phone list.
