Tonight’s Thursday Night Football game is huge for the Dallas Cowboys and Tampa Bay Buccaneers for different reasons.
Ahead of this evening’s showdown at the AT&T Stadium, Dak Prescott and America’s Team sit at 2-2 after a pair of gutsy wins against the Commanders and Texans and heartbreaking losses to the Giants and Ravens. A victory tonight would propel them to 3-2 before tough Week 6 and 7 matchups with the Packers and Eagles.
Meanwhile, the Bucs are fighting for their lives.

Todd Bowles’ 0-4 club has had nothing but bad luck in the first quarter of the 2026 season, losing quarterback Baker Mayfield to a a three-to-six-week thumb injury (making way for undrafted rookie Jalon Daniels to start) and all four of their games by seven points or less.
Oddsmakers expect a similar fate tonight. Dallas has a projected 9.5 to 10-point advantage on their home turf.
“It’s going to be a tough challenge for us from a talent standpoint,” Bowles said. “They’re very gifted.”
