The first weekend of the 2026 college football season kicks off today with 15 FBS matchups.

Two teams looking to capitalize on strong finishes in 2025-26 will open their season against each other when the Boise State Broncos travel to Eugene to take on the Oregon Ducks.

Oregon is entering this season ranked No. 2 in the country according to the AP preseason Top 25, following a 12-2 finish last season. The dominant run led them all the way to the Peach Bowl, where they lost to the eventual national champion Indiana Hoosiers.
