Houthi missile 'slams into vessel' in latest Red Sea attack as explosions rock Yemen


The United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) agency has reported an incident off the coast of Yemen, adding that a missile reportedly hit a vessel from above.

The Royal Navy’s information service added that authorities are still investigating.

In a statement, The UKMTO said: “UKMTO has received a report of an incident 95NM southeast of Aden, Yemen.

“Master reports port side of vessel hit from above by missile.

“Authorities are investigating.

“Vessels are advised to transit with caution and report any suspicious activity to UKMTO.”

This comes as Houthi Rebels attack commercial vessels and US Navy ships in the Red Sea.

Posting on X, Yemeni journalist Rashid Maarouf reported that Houthi Rebels had fired missiles from Yemen

He said: “Urgently The Houthis fire a ballistic missile From Makeiras now.”
