A British tourist has died from a heart attack just moments after he jumped into the sea while on a boat trip in Turkey’s Marmaris.
The 73-year-old was enjoying a sightseeing trip in the Turkish resort town with his friends when he jumped into the Red Sea to cool off.
But the man got into difficulty and was unable to get back on board the boat as his friends watched on in horror.
Emergency services were called to the boat, where a team of coastguards, police and divers in two separate boats pulled him from the boat.
He was rushed to the shore but pronounced dead on the beach moments after.
