A three-year-old girl has been hit by a van in Manchester this afternoon, prompting an air ambulance to scramble to the scene.
Police have cordoned off the main road in Hindley as they deal with the incident.
The North West Ambulance Service said the little girl suffered “potentially serious injuries” in the collision.
