'Handsome' Prince William sparks fan frenzy by wearing striking £150 designer sunglasses

Prince William sent the social media users frenzy as he rocked a striking pair of designer sunglasses worth £150 at a surf beach in Cornwall.

On Friday, the Prince of Wales, 41, joined an impromptu volleyball game with teenagers from a local lifesaving club on Fistral Beach in Newquay, Cornwall.

With temperatures hovering around 16C along with a gentle breeze, the Royal was welcomed by a lot of members of the public who were at the beach to enjoy the spring and sunny weather

During the visit, the Prince donned the Finlay and Co Marshall in Smoke Sunglasses with a light-blue shirt and navy chinos.

The description of the sunglasses says: “MA more rectangular relative of our Archer frame, Marshall draws us in with its angular frame paired with a smoother lens shape.

“Handcrafted from the finest Mazzucchelli acetate and fitted with industry-renowned Zeiss lenses, Marshall’s contrasting contours add a little intrigue to your sunglasses.”

His latest look left the social media users awe-struck as many cheered the Prince.

One user wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter: “Love them! Both he and King Charles have great taste in sunglasses.”

A second user commented: “He looks so handsome!”

A third user said: “Love his look with his sunglasses.”

However, this is not the first time that he has worn these sunglasses. Last year in August, he looked dapper as rocked his look with these sunglasses white attending the Men’s Final at Wimbledon.

Meanwhile, William showed off his volleyball skills as his serving proved too much as the opposition repeatedly knocked the ball into the net while attempting a return.

William’s journey to Cornwall occurred in the absence of his wife, Kate, the Princess of Wales, who is currently taking time away from public engagements due to her battle with cancer.

During the visit, the Prince met members of the Holywell Bay and Newquay Surf lifesaving clubs and watched demonstrations of training drills, including surfboard skills and cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
