Over the last few weeks, the McDonald’s character has seemingly been everywhere on the internet after the fast food chain released the Grimace Birthday Meal, which includes a purple berry-flavored milkshake to celebrate the mascot’s birthday.
The milkshake has even inspired memes and a viral TikTok trend in which people drink the shake and then cover themselves in it, pretending to be killed, passed out or possessed.
Some sellers are trying to capitalize on the increased hype and attention surrounding the character, listing Grimace and McDonald’s merchandise for sky-high prices.
