Grief-stricken Melania Trump pictured alongside husband Donald at mother's funeral

Donald Trump and Melania Trump were spotted together for the first time in months as they attended her mother’s funeral in Florida.

The couple cut a somber on the steps of the Episcopal Church of Bethesda-by-the-Sea in Palm Beach, only a few miles from Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate.

Melania remembered her mother Amalija Knavs, 78 as “a ray of light in the darkest of days” during a funeral service.

“In her presence, the world seemed to shimmer with radiance and joy,” Melania Trump said during a eulogy as her husband, former President Donald Trump, sat nearby. “Our bond was unbreakable.”

The former first lady said her mother celebrated her family’s triumphs and supported them during difficult times.

Speaking of the decision, the former president hit out at Judge Lewis Kaplan as a ” radical Trump-hater” following his accuser E. Jean Carroll’s testimony.

He said: “So what happened is to just delay the trial for one day so I could go to the funeral and then we could start Friday or Monday or any time they want.

“And he said absolutely not, ‘ the trial will go on just as it is. You can go to the funeral or you can go to the trial but you can’t do both.’ I thought it was terrible.”
