With winter almost here and Christmas fast approaching, many of us will be looking out for the best festive activities. Garden centres are known for their Christmas displays and ornaments, with people heading to their nearest one on winter weekends for a mooch around. One location in particular is going all out this year, and is welcoming 90 different stalls for a fabulous Christmas fair.

AG Meale and Sons Wayford Nurseries in Norwich has revealed that it will be hosting a range of different stalls, with vendors offering everything from soaps and scents to fabrics and crafts. The fair will run on Saturday, November 29, and Sunday, November 30 from 10am to 3pm.

Among the stalls are Ruskins Rugs which will be selling wool latch and rug hook kits to make cushions, placemats and wall hangings; Appleton Soap Company which will offer handmade soap bars, shampoo bars and body creams; and Crochami which will sell handmade crochet items like soft toys and keyrings.

There are also stalls selling unique items including Norfolk Handmade Pens which will offer visitors a selection of wooden pens; Du Different Crafts which will sell handmade wooden bird boxes, fairy houses and bug hotels; and Max Your Garden which will sell willow weaved items like baskets and garden ornaments.

For fashion lovers there will be A Bit Wooly, where you can pick up some woven alpaca scarves and hats; Mrs Clarke Clothing where visitors can buy handmade children’s clothes; and Made by Me Jewellery which will sell handmade earrings, necklaces and bracelets.

While listening to the live Christmas music, guests can also pick up a selection of festive gifts including tree decorations at Baubolitious, glass ornaments at Our Sphere, and Christmas angels at Elsie & Fred’s Craft Shed.

Your furry friends will also be catered for thanks to Daisy’s Doggy Hampers, which will be selling treat cones and Christmas hampers for pets; and East Coast Pet Rescue where you can buy Christmas crackers for your cat or dog.

Entry to the event is free and there will be “plenty of parking”, the garden centre shared online.
