Love is back in the fields — and the stakes just got higher.
Farmer Wants a Wife returns Tuesday, April 21, at 8/7c on FOX, introducing three new farmers and a revamped format that dials up the drama.
Actress and New York Times bestselling author Kimberly Williams-Paisley is back to host season four, which narrows the focus to a tight-knit group, diving deeper into connections as single women trade city lights for sunrise chores, muddy boots, and the grit of country life.
This season’s farmers hail from every corner of the country, from golden Midwest cornfields to sprawling Southern ranches and the sun-soaked farm-to-table fields of California.
Sean Cavanaugh, 22, is a California native from Solvang with strong roots in agriculture. He works on his family’s 22-acre produce farm supplying eateries all over the state, including their own farm-to-table spot, The Gathering Table.
Braden Pridemore, 26, is a fifth-generation corn and soybean farmer from Homer, Illinois, who co-owns and lives on his 3,000-acre family operation.
Brett Maverick, 35, a former bull rider, now runs his family’s 1,000-acre horse and cattle farm in Savannah, Tennessee, after building a successful protein bar company and tequila brand.
The season unfolds through a series of group events and dates, including a speed dating mixer in Nashville and a gathering at Laurel Park Racetrack in Maryland.
But the biggest twists hit early on, including a surprise date designed by the ladies to explore intimacy and a compatibility test that reveals whether couples truly align in their values and long-term goals.
One woman stuns everyone by leaving her chosen farmer to chase a new connection, while families shake things up by adding an unexpected contender at the very first group event.
The series — which has aired in 32 countries and led to more than 250 marriages and over 500 children — proves that lasting love can grow anywhere.
Season Four premieres April 21 on FOX.
