First details of Meghan Markle’s new podcast emerge as she ‘makes one key vow’

Meghan Markle surprised fans and announced her new partnership with Lemonada Media earlier this month and aims to launch her new podcast on the platform, following the end of her multi-million Spotify deal.

There has been a lot of speculation about what this new partnership will entail, with the first details emerging.

A source told US Weekly that Meghan Markle considers herself “too academic for entertainment only” and does not want the podcast to be “celebrity driven”.

The project is part of the Duke and Duchess’s efforts to establish themselves as key players in Hollywood since stepping down from their institutional roles in 2020.

Speaking to GB News, royal biographer, Angela Levin said: “We know the previous one [podcast] she did, she just talked about herself nonstop. Here too, if she’s going to give stories of her life so far I think it will be a terrible disadvantage. People don’t want to know the same thing again and again about her.”

The source close to the Duchess claimed she will use her new project to do “some inner reflecting” and discuss aspects of her personal life with her guests. They added: “She wants to do mostly philanthropic-type content.”

On February 13, Lemonada Media announced its new partnership with the Duchess of Sussex, however, the title of the podcast has not yet been revealed.

Lemonada will be also launching all 12 episodes of Meghan’s Archetypes podcast, which first aired on Spotify last year. The first season of her podcast featured famous guests including Serena Williams.

Details about the podcast come as Meghan Markle reportedly made a blunt vow that she would never fly to the UK again.

Royal author Omid Scobie, who penned Endgame last year, stated in his book that Meghan “never felt at home” in the UK. He wrote that Meghan “never wants to set foot again in England”.

Angela Levin told GB News the PR stance of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry has changed from being “victims” to having a more positive approach. She said: “The new one is all for being positive, be with the Royal Family, to show that you are very important.”

In the midst of the fractured relationship between Prince Harry and the Royal Family, Harry is reportedly in “Government-level talks” about bringing his wife and the two children to the UK later this year.

The Duke of Sussex is hoping to bring his family of four back to England for the service at St Paul’s Cathedral to mark the 10-year anniversary of the Invictus Games.

As reported in OK! Magazine, the source said Harry is currently holding “Government-led talks” to organise the whole family coming over. The source added: “Harry is very keen for his entire family to join him. It’s important for him that they show a united front and focus on building bridges with the rest of the Royal Family.”

Meghan didn’t attend King Charles’s Coronation last May and according to Mr Scobie, she didn’t want to “dive back into the soap opera of the court”.
